CLIVE JACOBSON brings over thirty years of international design and advertising experience to both institutional and retail accounts.
Jacobson has won numerous international design awards, including the South African Society of Marketers Award for SASOL Group Corporate Identity and in New York, as Art Director for ID- Magazine of International Design, and later as a Madison Avenue Agency Executive Creative Director, with clients such as Escada, Target, Allstate and Philips.
Clive Jacobson Design clients have included Citigroup Private Bank, The NFL (Super Bowls XVII and XXIX logos), UBS, UJA, Turner Construction, Odeon Capital, Olympia & York USA, Optionsellers.com, Stanton Public Relations and AXA Equitable.
Awards for excellence include: AIGA, American Institute of Graphic Arts; American Corporate Identity; The Art Directors Club of New York; Art Direction Magazine; Communication Arts; Graphic DesignUSA; Logolounge 2017, Print Magazine; Graphis Best Logos; SPD-The Society of Publication Designers of America; and the 2000 International Annual Report Competition (ARC) Awards.
As an adjunct professor at NYU, Jacobson has taught workshops on Design Principals, Conceptualization, Typography & Visual Semiotics. He does portrait and landscape oil painting, and in Sept 2012, his first co-illustrated book, Jacobsonjoy, was sold out at MOMA NY. Clive Jacobson's paintings were exhibited by MvVO at the Oculus, World Trade Center, New York.
